Sade could sing the phone book (hopefully New York City as it is larger) and I would sit enthralled to the end.

A guy who works for Sony just confirmed that Sade has finished recording some new songs. The new album should be finished by September!

This is the news i have been expected to see when i type into google when is sade back.

Yes I heard the album is being mastered in Paris right now(if not already finished), and Sony has updated the Sadeusa site!

I read somewhere the album should be released in november of this year. That's a year after you guys from RAAR FM brought this news.. haha

Maxwell actually stated in his facebook fans page that Sade's new album would be "monolithic" and said it will "shake us in our shoes" so I figure it's done already

The Lover's Rock Tour was the last time I saw her in concert . That show was in Boston ,Massachussetts in the fall of the year ; with India Irie as her opening performer . That had to be atleast seven years ago .

I discoverd Sade music as a teen in the 1980s and become an instant fan. She's AMAZING!!! She's even better live in concert! I wonderd when she would release another album.

Yes, Its way pass the time for Sade to resurface. I would say that this is not a comeback, she's just been quiet, away from the music seen and public, and thats ok, but now is the time, I knew, from the begining of this new year, I could feel that she was about to come out soon, and I was correct. Just in time for me, because I will be returning from a work assignment in Dubai, U.A.E. very soon, just in time to get tickets for myself and wife, for her concert dates, either in my home town of San Antonio, Tx. or Raliegh, NC. Either one is fine with me, I will catch one of those shows. Its about time, now the Summer of 2009 will be hotter than expected.

Sade was my favourite artist for many years. I went to see her in concert in Edinburgh in 1985 or 86 and it was such a great moment in my life. I have always liked layed back relaxing music and my favourite music now is chillout and a band called Zero 7. I hope that Sade coming back with a new album will top the new album coming out by Zero 7 around the same time. This is the greatest news I have heard in a long time and hope Sade will also be touring soon.

If any of this posted speculation is true I'll be very happy. I am listening to the group's "Best of..." at the moment. I searched the web wondering if they're up to anything and found a note that led me here. Earlier this week I recalled the night I met her. I was walking down an alley outside the theatre after her concert when a limo drove by me and parked. She walked out of the stage door where maybe 30 people clamored to see her. Everyone was calling her name. I moved closer but stood behind the crowd just observing her. She looked a bit sad, quietly signing autographs, politely smiling a few times. She looked at me and signed a few more autographs. Next thing I know, she had walked over to where I stood. She just stood before me looking at me. It seemed an eternity but had to have only been 15 seconds of silence. She extended her hands and took my concert tour catalog from my hands still looking at me. "Don't you ever get tired of this?" I asked with a sympathetic voice. "Sometimes I do. I really, really do," she said slowly. She handed back the tour book upon which she wrote "love, Sade," and gave me a rose from her bouquet. She then quickly turned to everyone yelling her name, threw the entire bouquet into the air, roses falling to the ground, jumped into the awaiting limo and drove off. It's weird. She'd likely never remember that exchange, but for me it was bit of personal exchange. Celebrity doesn't "wow" me. That occasion will always stick with me though. Her signature is framed and hangs on my bedroom wall, the dried up rose still inside the book.

I've had a love affair with Sade's music since i first heard Diamond Life when i was 13, i just turned 38 on July 26th and her voice still touches me now as it did all those years ago. Every Sade album release over the years, just like Teena Marie's has been too far and few between and has felt like Christmas too me when they finally did release one. I cant wait!!!

I have heard Sade's music.Their fifth studio album Lovers Rock released
August 1 2000.It featured hip hop R&B soul and rock music.It featured four singles
By Your Side June 2000,King Of Sorrow December 2000,Lovers Rock February 2001 and Somebody Already Broke My Heart April 2001.Damn it's been 9 years
The Lovers Rock Tour began on November 8 2000 and finished August 24 2001.
There's also a Live CD called Lovers Live with a concert on November 8 2000.
The CD was released April 24 2001.After the tour ended Sade took a break
from 2001-2009 and after another long break from the music industy.
