The 5 best and worst summer soundtracks of 2009 by Cinr

The 5 best and worst summer soundtracks of 2009 by Cinr These albums are on heavy rotation on Cinrs iPod at the moment:

1 Just Jack - All night cinema
This is gonna be one of my favorite albums of 2009 for sure. Jack's back and this time, he sounds much more convincing than his previous cd "The Outer Market". 100% thumbs up!

2 Rhythms del Mundo - Classics
Not as good as I hoped it would be, but still a very solid & strong compilation. The ultimate summer soundtrack jampacked with Cuban covers by Raar FM favorite artists like The Killers, Amy Winehouse, The Editors, Jack Johnson, KT Tunstell and many more. Well worth your money.

3 I Monster - A Dense Swarm Of Ancient Stars
This is how Air's latest releases should've sounded. Mucho respect to I Monster for their strenght to keep developing their talent.

4 Macaco - Panic
Unfortunately Manu Chao didn't bring us any new material the last 2 years, but this remarkable album by Macaco is a good replacement. I even dare to say that this album is better than Manu's last album.

5 Moby - Wait for me
Moby returns with a new chill-out/laidback album. Somewhat darker than his previous releases. When the sun ain't shining, this is a way to get through the day.

I tried to listen to these albums, but I don't see a point of spending any money on them:

1 Bob Sinclar - Born in 69
Awful. I didn't know how fast I had to delete this rubbish from my pc. I actually liked the first single with the amazingly dull title "La La song", but the rest of these tunes made me sick. Bob, if I had a timemachine, I would've personally send you back to "Paradise" in 1998.
This could easily be the number 1 in my "worst albums of 2009" list.

2 Maxwell - Black summer night
Maxwell returns with another album full of cheesy, slimey and boring "oewieh" songs. I hoped for a new "Urban Hang Suite", but I'm afraid those days are long gone. This album is part 1 of his new trilogy, so there might be some hope left.

3 Zuco 103 - Retouched After The Carnaval Remixes
Don't get me wrong. I love Zuco. I just don't like these remixes. Shame on those who thought they could get away with "raping" these beautiful tracks.

4 Peter Fox - Stadtaffe
Haus am See is the only track I really really like. The rest of the album is based on cool laid-back German hip hop and it just doesn't ring my bell.

5 Fagget Fairy's - Feed the horse
I was hoping for something better from the Danish lesbians... The first single was absolutely brilliant. This album is just a waste of MB's on my pc. Most of the songs are totally irrelevant and sound dated.

Please note that this is just my opinion. You are invited to discuss my point of view :)
