Hot & Massive tune of the week (week 37)

Hot & Massive tune of the week (week 37) Basement Jaxx feat Sam Sparro - Feelings Gone

Just as you thought you could sink into a long and lasting Autumn-depression, the boys decided to release this tune.

If there's one record that feeds on the cliche "feel-good music" it has got be "Feelings gone".

We don't need to introduce the Basement Jaxx, who have been producing excellent tunes since the early 90s. Some of their biggest hits include "Rendez-vu", "Where's your head at", "Raindrops" and "Red Alert".

"Feelings gone" is taken from the group's forthcoming album, titled "Scars" and will be released on October 6th.

Sam Sparro gained some succes abroad with his debut 2008 album "Sam Sparro" including 3 RAAR FM hits "Black & Gold", "21st Century Life" and "Pocket". Will this be his big breakthrough?

Sam quotes; "They invited me to sing on some tracks, but when I joined them in the studio I felt all silly around them," Sparro tells the Daily Star newspaper in the UK. "They're so cool and down-to-earth, though, and they just take it all in their stride."

Along with the album version of the track, the digital single EP of "Feelings Gone" will feature remixes by Joachim Garraud, Adrian Lux, Rusko and Spor.

This has got to be one of the best collaborations of 2009.
